This is a map of Glasgow from Harper’s Hand Book (1879). Glasgow Central Station was opened in the middle of this year so this must have been one of the very last maps of Glasgow that didn’t include the station. As you can, hopefully, see in the bottom picture, Alston Street is still present at the station’s site with the building outlines shown.
