IS of a pale chocolate or cream colour, with a black ringlet, with white edges, around the neck; the breed is common in England, and they are easily domesticated. Their habits are like those of other birds of the tribe. They are also called the Indian Turtle Dove, and are often a great object of attention and care to our ladies, who breed them at home and sometimes in their gardens.
